From a quick cabinet-and-counter refresh to a fully reconfigured open-plan kitchen, GD Construction handles every part of your kitchen remodel in-house — design, demo, plumbing, electrical, cabinets, countertops, tile, and finish work.
Most Gulf Coast homeowners end up juggling three or four trades to remodel a kitchen — a cabinet shop, a counter guy, a plumber, an electrician. We handle all of it under one roof. One project manager, one fixed-price quote, one schedule, one warranty.
That's how we keep kitchen remodels on time, on budget, and out of the years-long renovation nightmare you've heard horror stories about.
Whatever the scope, we've done it. Most of our kitchen projects fall into one of these tiers.
Walls open, layout reconfigured, new cabinets, quartz or granite countertops, new flooring, new lighting, new appliances. Typically $35K–$80K+ depending on size and finishes.
Keep the layout, swap the heavy stuff — new cabinets or cabinet refacing, new countertops, new tile backsplash, new sink and faucet, updated lighting. Typically $18K–$35K.
If your cabinet boxes are solid, refacing or professional painting can transform the kitchen for a fraction of replacement. Usually $4K–$12K.
Quartz, granite, butcher block, or solid surface — measured, fabricated, and installed. Most jobs done in 1–2 weeks from template.
Removing a load-bearing wall to open the kitchen to the living room. Includes structural beam engineering, electrical/plumbing rerouting, and finish drywall.
Smart layouts for cottages and older Gulf Coast homes — every inch matters and we know how to make a small footprint feel big.
When we write your quote, we write it line-item so you know exactly what's included.
Including hauling everything to the dump — you don't lift a thing.
Plumbing, electrical, drywall, tile, paint, and finish carpentry handled by our crew.
Pulled and closed with the city of Gulfport, Harrison County, or wherever the home sits.
We sweep and contain the work area every day so you can keep living in your house.
We walk the finished kitchen with you and don't call it done until you sign off.
Written warranty on all labor. Manufacturer warranties pass through to you on materials.
From the Hancock County line to Pascagoula, our trucks are on the road from sunup. If you're inside the dotted line — Diamondhead, Bay St. Louis, Pass Christian, Long Beach, Gulfport, Biloxi, D'Iberville, Ocean Springs, Gautier, Pascagoula — we'll be out for a free estimate this week.
Most full-scope kitchen remodels on the Gulf Coast run $35,000–$80,000 depending on size, layout changes, and finish level. Mid-range refreshes (new cabinets and counters, same footprint) typically come in at $18,000–$35,000. Cabinet refacing-only projects start around $4,000. We give fixed-price written quotes — no hourly surprises.
Most kitchens are 4–8 weeks from demo to final punch list. Bigger jobs with structural work, custom cabinetry, or major plumbing/electrical changes can run 8–12 weeks. We give you a written schedule with milestones up front and update you weekly.
Yes. We set up a temporary kitchen station (microwave, mini-fridge, coffee setup) somewhere else in the house, seal the work area with plastic to keep dust down, and clean daily. Most clients stay in their home the whole time.
We handle layout, cabinet selection, and material choices in-house. For larger custom kitchens, we partner with a local kitchen designer who can produce 3D renderings before any work starts. Most clients don't need a separate designer.
Often, yes. If the cabinet boxes are solid and the layout works, we can reface them with new doors and drawer fronts, paint them professionally, or rebuild the interiors with soft-close hardware and pull-out shelving. We'll tell you honestly during the estimate whether refacing or replacing is the better move.
